Castle Christmas Fair was earlier held at Castle Assumburg, but has now moved to Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg. While it’s technically a manor house, the grand building and open grounds make it perfect for a festive castle-style market 🎄. Rows of tents fill the estate with Christmas gifts, food stalls, warm drinks, and festive entertainment.

The main seating area sits under a large tent facing a stage 🎵. There are music performances, decorative lighting, and even a light & water show on the lake at night. You’ll also spot fun details like live alpacas at the entrance, a Ferris wheel, and creative photo spots ✨.

From Amsterdam Centraal, take a direct train to Santpoort-Noord 🚆. The journey takes about 35 minutes, followed by a 10-minute walk to the estate. The walk is scenic, passing trees and even horse stables 🐎. If you’re driving, paid parking is available across the road from the fair.
