INTRODUCTION
π¬ Iβve been visiting π° (and writing βοΈ) about many castles in the Netherlands π³π± lately β and while this one is technically a palace, not a castle, itβs still absolutely worth a visit! β¨
Because Iβm talking about Paleis Het Loo β the former royal home of the House of Orange-Nassau π, lived in by Dutch royalty until 1975. Itβs one of the Top 100 Dutch heritage sites, known for its beautiful gardens π·, royal history ποΈ, and magical seasonal events πβοΈ.
Iβve visited twice β once on a cozy Christmas Eve βοΈ and once during a warm Dutch summer βοΈ, and both felt completely different yet equally special π«
